The Mirka® DEROS II 550X is a 5" direct electric random orbital sander developed for effective and dust-free sanding of all kinds of surfaces. The DEROS II 550X has a 5" pad and 5.0 mm orbit. Suitable for general purpose sanding, it is the oscillation most commonly used and achieves a good balance between stock removal and surface finishing. The effective Mirka® DEROS II is a compact and easy-to-use electric sander. The next generation DEROS II continues the story of the successful orbital sander with numerous improvements for the user. The low-profile and lightweight DEROS sander is well known for its leading ergonomics and balanced feel, with operator comfort at a high standard. Mirka's DEROS II can be used for long periods without fatigue due to its low noise level and low vibration values. The new design makes it even easier for the operator to adjust the sanding speed: in addition to the easy-to-operate lever for adjusting sanding speed, the DEROS II also features clearly visible LED indicators for the speed selector and a separate on/off switch. Thanks to the long-life and high efficiency brushless motor, the Mirka DEROS II maintains a consistent speed and can effortlessly tackle also demanding jobs and heavy applications. As part of Mirka's dust-free sanding solution, the Mirka DEROS II enables efficient dust-free sanding and Bluetooth connectivity allows seamless integration with the myMirka® app for vibration monitoring.
